Welcome to St Mary's, Almeley
In this Church of England church we hold a wide variety of services, some are traditional using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, others are more modern. Some services are especially for children and young families, with a great variety of music, drama and other activities. We worship God and have fun and good fellowship together. We aim to be friendly and approachable and try to live and share the Christian life in this village.
We hold our normal service every Sunday at 11.00am on the first four Sundays in each month. On the fifth Sunday where there is one in a month we join with the other churches in the Eardisley Group.
Church Services in September 2010:
Sunday 5th September: Holy Communion
Sunday 12th September: Morning Prayer
Sunday 19th September: Holy Communion
Sunday 26th September: Family Service
Advance Notice: The Harvest Festival service will be held on Friday 1st October at 6.30. The Supper following the service will be a 'bring and share' so please come and join us for the service and all contributions to the supper, however large or small, will be gratefully received - just bring it to the service with you.
Family Services
We hold family services every two months normally, when we welcome the younger members of the community and their families. The next family Service will be in September.
